Blasts From The Past . . . .  Do You Remember . . .?

Past great artists sometimes get lost the the sea of "new stuff" and it's great to sometimes
take time-out and remember and re-visit the past and the great stars and songs of by-gone Eras, like the Swinging Sixties. Here's a stroll down Memory Lane. The material here has been re-issued on Compact Disc to ensure the material survives.

Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition Image  Harper's Bizarre "Feelin' Groovy" Hits
HARPERS BIZARRE "FEELIN' GROOVY THE BEST OF ..."  - On CD
"From the start, there was always a discussion about the band's point of view," recalls Waronker. "It ws a big issue, because our sense was that, if they were going to have continuing success, we had to build ssomething that had a core (personally). What emerged, on the album and subsequent recordings was a 'tricky and perverse' amalgam of pristine choirboy vocals and sardonic attitude, the latter often contributed by the songs of Randy Newman" - from liner notes by Gene Sculatti, 1996. Hmmm? What do you think? We prefer to just enjoy these fabulous songs. How about you? Feelin' groovy?
Tracks are:
59th Street Bridge Song (feelin' groovy), Come To The Sunshine, Happyland, Simon Smith And The Amazing Dancing Bear, The Debutante's Ball, Anything Goes, Jessie, High Coin, Chattanooga Choo Choo, The Biggest Night Of Her Life, Pocketful Of Miacles, Witchi Tai To, Knock On Wood and Poly High.
 - (oh boy, what a trip down memory Lane, just writing this up).
